Black Lives Matter Fundraiser

To aid the fight against police brutality, since June 2020 these four designed stickers have been used to fundraise and distribute money to those who need it. First advertised on social media and now on Etsy, the profits are going towards organizations that are fighting for racial equality.  The first round of donations totaling over $500 was divided evenly between ACLU, Snap4Freedom, My Block, My Hood, My City,
the Marsha P Johnson Institute, and the Portland Black Resilience Fund.

Since the US has been exposed to the COVID-19 pandemic, many citizens used to volunteering or helping out firsthand are no longer able to offer their services in person.  This fundraiser allowed those who wanted to join the fight for racial equality but were unsure how to start with the quarantine mandate.  So four waterproof vinyl stickers were designed and sold to raise money at a distance.  Designs were intended to include anyone who wanted to support and declare they believe that black lives matter. When a customer purchased a sticker, not only could they show off their support visually but they were also provided a list of other ways they can help those in need.
